Bath clock in townNY Forward (NYF) was launched in 2022 to support a more equitable downtown recovery for New York’s smaller communities, with a focus on hamlets, villages, and neighborhood-scale commercial centers.

Through the NYF program, these smaller downtowns will receive planning and implementation support needed to attract more businesses, residents, and visitors, while also providing a higher quality of life for all residents. The Village of Bath has been awarded $4.5 million to help fund transformative projects that will meet the goals of the NYF program.

Public Meeting #2

​The second Public Meeting for the Bath NYF project was held September 11, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Bath Fire Station, 50 E Morris Street, Bath, NY 14810. For those of you that were not able to attend in person, we have virtually replicated the experience of attending the public meeting in-person (click link below) and collected input through Thursday, September 18, 2025 on this website.

Open Call for Projects for the Bath NY Forward

The Open Call for stand-alone projects was closed on July 18, 2025. We will continue to accept Small Project Fund Interest Forms for projects under $75,000 through the end of September.
